A regional visitor website on TourOS, with a business directory, events, itineraries and an AI visitor concierge.
The project
What we built
Visit Northwest Illinois was the first production site on TourOS. It shares one CMS with Capture Carroll County, so staff run two branded websites from one place. The design is its own.
- A business directory in six categories, with all four counties on one map
- An events calendar with a public event submission form
- Itineraries with stops grouped by day, and an illustrated attraction map
- My Trip, a trip planner that needs no account and exports a guide
- An AI visitor concierge, opened from "Get Ideas", that answers from the site’s published content
- A visitor guide download and a newsletter sign-up
