Accessibility
A site everyone can use
We design and test this site for keyboard use, screen readers, color contrast and reduced motion. If something gets in your way, please tell us.

Our goal
We design and test this site to work with a keyboard, a screen reader, zoom and reduced motion. It has not been independently audited, and we do not claim conformance with any accessibility standard. We fix problems as we find them.
What we design and test for
- Keyboard. Every link and button works with a keyboard, focus is always visible, and a “Skip to content” link comes first on every page.
- Screen readers. Pages use real headings in order, named landmarks and lists, and images carry text descriptions.
- Contrast. Text colors are checked for contrast in both the light and dark themes, which follow your device setting.
- Reduced motion. Motion is kept small, and it switches off when your device asks for reduced motion.
- Zoom and small screens. Pages reflow from phone to desktop widths, and buttons and navigation links are at least 44 pixels tall.
Our client work
Every website we build for clients gets accessibility and speed checks before launch.
Report a problem
If you have trouble using any part of this site, email matthew@dixondigital.co. It helps to include:
- The page address
- What you were trying to do, and what happened
- The device, browser and any assistive technology you use
Matthew reads every report himself. He will reply, and if you need the information on a page in another way, he will get it to you.
